چکیده

Closed pore glass foams with dimensions of 60mm × 20 mm were produced using agro-industrial residues. Samples containing sodo-calcic powder (78%wt) and rice husk ash (16%wt) characterized, their technological properties investigated. The samples synthesized in a conventional muffle furnace at 750–800–850 °C. results presented for apparent density (0.24–0.29 g/cm3), compressive strength (1.5–2.3 MPa) thermal conductivity (0.021–0.025 W/mK) meet the standards commercial foam glasses. Low viscosity was achieved all temperatures as result addition to cell structure. X-ray fluorescence showed that silico-sodo-calcic type (SiO2, Na2O CaO), rich SiO2 (as well CaO, Na2O, Al2O3, K2O Fe2O3). mechanical low conduction material good efficiency use civil construction insulating material. Material made this way has lower production cost, additionally transforms waste into co-products, generating added value, favoring consecutive circulation, clean circular economy.

Evaluation of Coal Waste Ash and Rice Husk Ash on Properties of Pervious Concrete Pavement

The use of pervious concrete has been significantly considered in recent years. This consideration is due to the properties of pervious concrete in relating to the environmental sustainability that is utilized in the effective management of the runoff from rainfall. Coal extraction and rice husk obtained from milling, produces wastes that have no application and followed by environmental pollut...

Comparison on the Surface Structure Properties along with Fe(II) and Mn(II) Removal Characteristics of Rice Husk Ash, Inactive Saccharomyces cerevisiae Powder, and Rice Husk

This study selected solid wastes, such as rice husk ash (RHA), inactive Saccharomyces cerevisiae powder (ISP), and rice husk (RH), as the potential adsorbents for the removal of Fe(II) and Mn(II) in aqueous solution. The structural characteristics, functional groups, and elemental compositions were determined by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier translation infrared spectrum (FT-IR...
